lyrics
WHEN WILL MAY RETURN? this is may, head above the clouds, listening to the stream, wandering among the foxgloves. // this is may with her imaginary friend, walking in a dream, lost among the wild flowers. /R/ she meanders down a little forest path, hopping, skipping and when tripping she laughs, exploring this place far from the touch of time, and far from the fear of the adult mind. /// where is may? in her empty room shouts mum aloud, my delicate girl so gentle has gone out, this is not allowed. /R/ what has she got in that little pure head? miraculous thoughts which can never be said. what has she got perched behind her little ear? a posy, waved by adults to dull their fear. /// /B/ where is may? she is alone, all my mother’s fears form my mother’s tears, at once she is gone, she’s lost, i’m lost, to let her soul be free, i’ll bury her memory. terrible things can befall her if i’m not by her side, she gathered the villagers to tell then the tale of loss and they cried, not one moved an inch, but held each other tightly in fear for this nymph, who surely has been lost to the evil of the wood, succumbed to the dark and voices like: only a little girl could, only a little girl could, only a little girl could. /// where is may? we’ll wait for her sunny face, but what if its just too late and her light is no more. // where is may? when the sun has left its place and the moon charms its spirits to take her away /////

Been a huge fan of bands like the Warlocks, BJT, dolly rocker movement…etc… really glad to have found these guys. Been playing this album non stop for days now and can’t think of any better way to be spending my time. BRYAN EVANS

Excellent album. Reminds me of a number of much loved tracks from the past, but given a unique twist and fresh newness that is a joy to listen to. Going to listen to it again now. So so good. Richard Davies

An amazing album by The Greek Theatre with a blend of soft Psychedelic sounds combining a little Progressive rock, and soft New Age / Dream Pop vocals. This is Excellent music by an excellent band! Reminds of mid to late 60’s psychedelic, soft psychedelic rock with a touch of 70 progressive rock, and current Dream Pop vocals.
