If Lucifer and The Church of the Cosmic Skull had a steaming love affair, with a guest appearance of Jethro Tull, the resulting bastard would probably be called Lylantropi. Willem Verhappen
The Long Island metal band's third album etches arena-sized hooks into their jagged compositions, deftly balancing experimental and poppy inclinations. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 12, 2022
It would be nice to select a track, but I love the whole album. The sound is like a pastoral and somewhat psychedelic sixties group but dragged kicking and screaming into 2020. My guess is that they would like to be back in the 60's when this sort of music flourished. The musicianship is superb with male and female vocals throughout. I only picked White Rabbit because it is the one people will know. Their version is great but their own compositions are fantastic too. mockturtle
